Unlike most race shops R Sport does not employ mechanics who bill themselves as engineers. We are degreed ENGINEERS!

R Sport Engineering principle Duane Matejka holds an AAS degree in Mechanical Technology with a major in Internal Combustion Technology. Additionally he earned a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York College at Buffalo. His senior project was the complete design of a Formula Ford race car, a study which received an A grade. He has achieved success in both production race cars as well as open wheeled formula cars and most recently, domination in historic racing.
David Russell earned his ME degree from Virginia Military Institute and the result is an engineer who approaches the development of a race car from a logical perspective utilizing military precision. His uncompromising and detailed work ethic is applied to damper development on the latest Roehrig shock dyno.
Rich Polleni is an engineer with both education and skilled experience. He holds a ME from Drexel University and equally important has over 30 years experience as a master machinist. He has the unique ability to produce absolutely perfect machined parts from both manual and CNC equipment. An added advantage is that he doesn't limit himself to a 9 to 5 schedule and is available 24/7 to do whatever is necessary to finish a project.
R Sport is housed in a new, purpose-built 4,800 sq. ft. facility located in Bucks County PA , just north of Philadelphia. Our centralized location is an easy drive from both the New York and Wash/Baltimore metro areas.
